Lara’s career began over 20 years ago with work in landscape maintenance, construction and horticulture. This experience in parks, botanical gardens and private residences across Canada established a strong practical foundation for Lara’s design work. Lara also has a Fine Arts background and degrees in both Psychology and Landscape Architecture. These have given her design practice a broad and well-rounded approach. She is a critical thinker and problem solver with an artist’s eye for aesthetics and details.
Lara’s portfolio of work includes cemeteries, memorials, parks, boutique residential, multi family, restoration and institutional sites. She has also served as adjunct faculty in the UBC Master of Landscape Architecture Program.
In her downtime, Lara spends as much time outdoors with her family as possible
