Samantha is a licensed Landscape Architect and member of the British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects.
Samantha came to Landscape Architecture through her love for nature, design and technical problem solving. After completing her studies in Landscape Architecture at the University of Guelph, she first specialized in playgrounds and early childhood design. Working alongside early childhood educators and a design-build team, Samantha designed playground and school projects across North America.
In 2019, Samantha moved to BC to be closer to the ocean and mountains. In her work at Prospect & Refuge, Samantha’s designs range from schools and childcares to renovations, mixed-used projects and multi-family residential developments. Her work spans a variety of scales and budgets.
Outside of work, Sam spends as much time as possible out in the forests, mountains and ocean.
