Teena is a multidisciplinary designer working in landscape architecture, urban design and community engagement. Approaching projects with a collaborative outlook, she seeks to design places that feel restorative, cultural and climate relevant, and ecologically responsive. Teena volunteers her time working with racialized youth and community in urban design, education and advocacy, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Black and Indigenous Design Collective and 221A. Teena lives on Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh lands (East Vancouver) with her husband, daughter and pets. From Panjabi ancestry, she holds degrees from UBC, Concordia University and SFU.
